Will my QR code or NFC URL still work in 5 years?+
Yes — as long as the code is scanned at least once a year. Year 1 and Year 2 are included in the purchase price; from Year 3 onward each code auto-renews free every year it gets scanned. If a code goes 12 months without a scan we email you a friendly reminder (one scan keeps it active). If it then goes 24 months without a scan we move the album to our archive tier — nothing is deleted, you just tap "Bring it back" in your dashboard and it returns instantly, free. And for true belt-and-braces, every album owner can click "Lifeboat backup" to download a ZIP with a self-contained offline HTML viewer + every photo and video — works on any laptop forever, even if our servers vanish. If our servers ever do shut down, we’ve committed to a 90-day read-only wind-down on top of that.
Can I edit the content after I’ve given the gift?+
Yes — and editing is free at any time. Change the video, swap photos, fix a typo. The QR code or NFC URL stays the same; the content updates instantly.
Do my recipients need an app?+
No. Anyone with a phone made in the last 8 years can scan a QR code straight from their camera. NFC URLs work the same way — bring the phone near the tag and the content opens.
How much does a single code cost?+
From $6.99 for a single QR or NFC URL. Includes Year 1 storage & viewing plus the Year 2 renewal. From Year 3 it auto-renews free every year as long as the code is scanned at least once a year. No subscription, no recurring fees.
How is this different from a typical QR generator?+
Most QR generators are link-redirect subscriptions — you pay monthly and the QR stops working if you cancel. We’re a one-off purchase that gives you both QR and NFC, free edits any time, and zero subscription. Year 1 + 2 included; from Year 3 auto-renews free as long as scanned annually.
What if I lose access to my account?+
Standard email-based password reset. Even if your account were locked, every code stays on its own permanent URL — recipients keep scanning. We also email you a yearly “keep a copy” reminder so you always have a downloaded backup.
